Cooking Instructions 1kg Bread Mix, 650ml warm water 3.5kg Bread Mix, 2275ml warm water Step 1 Preheat the oven. Weigh out the required quantity of mix into a mixer bowl fitted with a dough hook. Step 2 Add the warm water and mix on a slow speed for 1 minute. Continue to mix, on medium speed, for a further 6 minutes until a smooth dough is formed. Step 3 Cut and shape as required and place on a greased baking sheet or in a loaf tin. Cover with a clean damp cloth or oiled cling film and leave to prove in a warm place until doubled in size. Step 4 Bake in a hot oven: rolls for 15-20 minutes and loaves for 25-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the base. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. For fan assisted ovens cooking times may need to be reduced. Hints & Tips Try shaping the dough to produce a range of different bread and rolls e.g. knots, twists, plaits, and cottage loaves. Brush with an egg and milk wash and scatter over poppy or mixed seeds before baking. You could also try adding grated cheese, chilli flakes, olives or seeds to make a variety of different flavoured breads.
